The Point Richmond Music Festival- August 9th, 2013

The 3rd Concert in the Point Richmond Music Series featured the talented Rusty String Express and dynamic Jenny Kerr .


First things first. It’s Friday at 5pm, let’s grab a refreshment! Buying Drinks at Bar

 One of the friendliest “bartenders” I’ve ever met! Wine, beer and margaritas were on offer- all proceeds go to Point Richmond Music.

A huge selection of snacks and meals were available too.

First up was the Rusty String Express, the self-described…  “lovechild of the jug band The Boweavils.”

This vibrant 4-piece band regularly play all over the Bay Area.

Great energy coming from the crowd- this event draws a really diverse group of locals and visitors…

Everyone was really feeling the music… This group started their own line dancing formation!

Don’t miss next month’s concert September 13th featuring Orquesta Dharma  and Viento y Marea. Concerts are free and begin at 5:30 pm at the corner of Park Place and Washington Ave.
