Without a date this Valentine’s Day? Fear not! Check out these fun Valentine’s Day Ideas for Friends in San Francisco Bay Area
Pillow Fight at the Embarcadero, San Francisco
Starting at 6pm (or 5:30, depending on the source- best to show up at 5:30) this event is really fun with a group of friends- it’s free and actually requires a lot more physical exertion that you may think. This is the perfect way to spend V-Day if you have recently been dumped, don’t believe in love or simply had a stressful week at work- this “fight” allows you to release your tensions onto complete strangers with a giant smile on your face! Make sure to play safe. Here are some top tips from the website:
- Bring a mask or bandanna to cover your mouth – it’s easy to choke on flying feathers.
- Bring a synthetic pillow (not one with feathers) trust us.. it’s much more enjoyable this way.
- Bring a garbage bag – have fun and then help clean up afterward – the price of having fun is keeping your city clean and makes it much less likely for the fuzz to shut this thing down.
- Build up your arm strength – your arms will be sore after this… trust us.

They have 16 taps flowing at all times, offering flights, no “pints” and only “snacks”- the website directs you towards the Fourth Street hub if patrons are in want of more hearty meals.
