Interns Jack and Katya continue their fantastic adventures around California and take a much needed (and scenic) rest-stop camping at Anchor Bay Campground
While wandering up the Mendocino Coast ,we stumbled upon the incredibly beautiful Anchor Bay. It was the perfect time for an outdoorsy pit-stop so we looked around for a good camp site. Anchor Bay Campground was seriously the best camping ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our tent was literally right on the beach; Anchor Bay Campground could not have been a more perfect location.
Everyone there was extremely nice, the sun was out, water wasn’t too cold, and the sound of the ocean made for a perfect night’s sleep.
The town of Anchor Bay is close by in case you forgot any camping necessities. As you can see in the pictures, the campsite location could not have been any better, and we loved how small and personal the campsite felt. Bathrooms were nice, shower was hot, and the people were great!
Grab your friends, family or your guitar and you’re guaranteed a fantastic stay. We 100% recommend to anyone looking for good camping or passing through Anchor Bay.
